About Isabella Bunny Bennett

Hello Monsties, I’m Isabella Bunny Bennett.

I’m an artist, performer, singer, comedian, horror host, and creator of strange little worlds.

For many years, audiences knew me as a co-founder and performer within Steam Powered Giraffe, where I helped create characters, worldbuilding, music, artwork, comics, videos, and theatrical performances. These days, I’m building a new chapter of my work around Hollowvale, an ever-growing monster world full of B-movies, music, art, puppets, live games, and audience-created characters.

I host Bella’s B-Movie Boneyard, a live horror-comedy show where terrible movies, monsters, puppets, and audience participation are at the forefront.

I also perform and make music as Mistress Isabella Bunny Bennett, create original spooky artwork, and draw my audience as Monsters so they can sit in our little digital movie theater when we watch old B-Movies!

A great deal of my work is all about making imaginary places feel real enough to step into. I like weird creatures, old movies, theatrical nonsense, heartfelt songs, practical effects, puppetry, and giving the audience a seat at the table.

I’m a transgender woman, and my own journey has found its way into some of the art and music I’ve made over the years. More than anything, I hope my work gives people permission to be strange, creative, and sincere.
